4 days left for ref 71 petition gatherers

With only 4 days remaining for opponents of equality to secure over 120,000 signatures to place referendum 71 on the ballot, thousands of Washington families are held in suspense.  At risk are hundreds of domestic partnership rights that married heterosexual couples already enjoy, including survivor benefits for police officers and firefighters killed in the line of duty. Join the Impact volunteers produced this video to introduce you to some of those families.

Please share it widely. By our opponent’s own admission this is going to be a close call.  Every person we reach in the next four days is vital to protecting equality.

As a former Washington state resident (I was born and raised in Kirkland), I am appauled by Ref 71. I currently reside in California and when Prop 8 (I refer to it as Prop H8) passed it made me want to move back to Washington. Now we have people like Dan Ricco trying to get signitures to put this on the ballet? I have heard of this guy before and to put a petition in his hand is unbelievable. Will these people stop at nothing? I know the group of people who are behind this Ref 71 are a small group, but look at the damage such a small group can cause. We need to stand up and fight back with all we have!
