5th anniversary of same sex marriage in MA

This week is the 5th anniversary of same-sex marriage in Massachusetts, the first state in the United States to legalize same-sex marriage. When equality hit the state, the fringe radical right wing anti-equality movement told Americans the sky was going to fall, the sanctity of marriage would be ruined, and the end of the United States was right around the corner because of same-sex marriage. Clearly they were wrong, and yet as same-sex couples continue to fight for equality throughout the country they face the same outrageous lies and threats against their rights. How long will it take for the fringe radical right wing to shut-up and move on? How many times do we have to prove the sun will come up and the moon will set and gays will marry gays and straights will marry straights and everything is going to be just fine? Will it take 50?
